Jennifer
Practice Manager
Prior to entering the world of dentistry, Jennifer taught middle and high school science for a small private school in Otsego. When that school closed, she decided to change careers and has never looked back!
A Western Michigan University graduate, she has been married for 34 years and has 6 children. As an avid lover-of-the-outdoors, she relishes the multitude of beautiful trails and the slower-paced life that West Michigan has to offer.
Outside of the office, Jennifer loves spending time with her family, cooking, and watching her children participate in various sports; she also enjoys lifting weights, staying physically active and researching ways to optimize nutrition.
Her favorite thing about working at the Sharp Smile Center is using her teaching background to help our patients feel less anxious and better understand their individual treatment needs.
Karen
Patient Scheduling Coordinator
Karen graduated from Western Michigan University in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science degree. She has worked at Sharp Smile Center since 1996 and knows all aspects of the business and front office duties. Karen is a most treasured member of Sharp Smile Center as her long years of service and loyalty reflect her dedication and work ethic. If you are looking for answers, Karen will be the person most people turn to. She is also kind, gentle, and never gets mad or raises her voice. She’s someone everyone loves to work with!
Karen married her husband, Dave, the same year she started at Sharp Smile Center and has been happily married since. She is a dedicated and wonderful mom with two beautiful children: Abby, who was born in 1999, and Nick, who was born in 2003. Her interests include spending time with her family, traveling, swimming, and just spending time outdoors in the summer. She is very excited about being an empty nester as her youngest is now in college. When you walk through our doors you can count on Karen to greet you warmly and take extra good care of you!
Amber
Insurance Coordinator
Amber is a native to Michigan, having lived in Grand Rapids for 20 years. She relocated to Indiana for 10 years, where she completed her associates degree in dental assisting and that began her love of dentistry. Since 2015, Amber has built on her expertise as a dental assistant and taken on a variety of roles at the front desk.
In more recent years, Amber and her husband have relocated back home to Michigan. They have three fur babies including a silver lab named Molly and two black and white cats named Bandit and Felix. It’s an understatement to say that Amber is a huge animal lover. In fact, one day, she hopes to have mini highland cows! Other passions of Ambers include reading books and crafts including crochet, quilling, resin pouring, and playing with her Cricut.
Jessica
Clinical Manager and Dental Assistant
Jessica graduated from Lake Michigan College in 2008, earning a degree as a Registered Dental Assistant. She brings years of training and experience and is qualified to perform the most advanced procedures as a dental assistant. She became interested in dentistry at the young age of eight when she was in an accident, knocking out several teeth. Because of many visits to the dental office and this early childhood experience, she became very interested in helping others with all their dental needs.
Jessica was born, raised, and currently resides in Hartford, MI. In 2009, she married her husband, Matt. Jessica and her husband have 2 children, Grayson (2012) and Avery (2015). Together, they have a chocolate lab, named Hank and 4 rescue cats named Benny, Raven, Josie, and Zoey. She has a love for helping animals. When she is not at the office, you will find her at the soccer fields cheering on her children. Jessica is happy to be part of the Sharp Smile Center team, and we’re sure you will find her to be helpful, compassionate, and caring.
Tiffany
Dental Assistant
As a passionate and dedicated dental assistant Tiffany takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident during their dental visits. With 3 years of experience in the dental field, she is skilled in assisting with a variety of procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in the office. Tiffany is committed to providing the highest standard of care, supporting the dentist in delivering treatments, and educating patients on the importance of oral health.
Tiffany believes that a positive and compassionate approach can make a significant difference in the patient’s experience, and strives to make each visit as stress-free as possible. One of her mains goals is to help patients achieve their best smiles by offering professional care, guidance, and support throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of the office Tiffany enjoys crafting, reading, and taking trips to Disney. Tiffany got married in 2024 to her husband Jacob. Together they have three dogs. A Australian shepherd collie mix named Jax, and two Labrador retriever mix’s named Wendy and Revan.
Monique
Dental Assistant
As a dedicated bilingual dental assistant with 13 yrs of experience, Monique is passionate about providing excellent patient care while making sure everyone feels comfortable and understood. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Monique works to ensure clear communication with patients from diverse backgrounds. Her goal is to build strong relationships with patients and make each visit to Sharp Smile Center a pleasurable experience.
Monique is married to husband, Adrian, and they have 4 children- Carli, Butters, Adelena and Karolina. When she has time off, she likes to spend time with family; they enjoy eating and cooking new foods and working on projects around their home.
Bree
Registered Dental Hygienist
Bree was born and raised in Hillsdale Michigan and moved to Kalamazoo in 2014 for dental hygiene school. She attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College where she graduated with her associates degree in 2018 with additional certification to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. With 7 years of experience she has developed a skilled and knowledgeable foundation of dentistry. She is driven by providing quality standard of care to each of her patients and passionate about education on the importance of oral hygiene and preventative care.
Outside of work her 5 fur babies keep her entertained. 2 dogs named Lola and Chloe, and 3 cats named Simba, Scar and Theo. She also enjoys staying active at Burn Boot Camp and spending time with friends and family – especially her niece and nephew.
Brianna
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brianna graduated in 2023 from Kalamazoo Valley Community College and is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to provide exceptional dental hygiene care. With a gentle touch, friendly demeanor, and empathetic approach, Brianna strives to create a comfortable and relaxing environment for each patient. She believes in the power of empathy and takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs and concerns.
She also listens attentively, provides reassurance, and offers personalized care that is tailored to our patient’s specific needs. Along with being a registered dental hygienist, Brianna is licensed in nitrous oxide and local anesthetic.
In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time on the lake or with her Neapolitan Mastiff, Frankie.
Frankie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Breanna aka “Frankie” is a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist with a passion for creating positive experiences for her patients. She graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2022 and has been dedicated to helping others maintain healthy, confident smiles ever since. Her love for dentistry began as a child when she looked forward to her own dental visits and left inspired by the care she received. Known for her gentle touch, sweet demeanor, and calming presence, Breanna excels at making patients feel welcome and at ease in the dental chair. Whether it’s reassuring a nervous patient or brightening someone’s day with a friendly conversation, she goes above and beyond to ensure everyone she works with leaves smiling. Outside of her profession, Breanna is a creative soul with a love for music and art. She enjoys writing songs, singing, and playing the guitar and piano in her free time. Her nurturing spirit also extends to her background as a daycare provider, where she developed a special knack for working with children—a skill that continues to benefit her here at Sharp Smile Center. With a heart full of kindness and a commitment to excellence, Breanna is not just a dental hygienist but an advocate for healthy smiles and happy lives.
